At rank 2, you gain the use of a weathered leather pouch that is an uncommon magic item. The portfolio keeper holds and organizes notes. brochures, and business cards bearing your contact information. It also has an inexhaustible supply of brochures related to your franchise's current branding scheme.When you meet someone for the first time. their details and a rough sketch are magically stored on a small parchment card in the portfolio keeper. You can access the details of any such stored card as a bonus action.

Came to Jericho Investigations after having unsettling nightmares two nights in a row that have somehow carved an enchanted rune into his chest. Nosy motherfucker, but very charming. Past lives include: Isaac Clement, pawn shop owner - murdered in 1966. Midaeia Ganidi, archeologist, died under mysterious circumstances in the 1910s. Morpheus, the god of dreams, killed by vengeful Night Hags in who-the-fuck knows when.

NOTES: Giant bug priests of Myrkul. They have the stats of dwarven clerics on steroids. Pippinella cast Reduce on one, Shane cast Charm Person on another, and Jericho cast Polymorph on a third. Only seem to speak in chittering bug language. Disinclined to listen to reason.

NOTES: The head priest of Myrkul. Can speak in Common right in people's brains. Slightly more inclined than his underlings to listen to reason. Was graciously willing to forgive the blasphemy of touching the book we had no way of knowing we weren't supposed to touch.

NOTES: Pippinella's master. A ghost that lives in a painting she keeps in the filing room in the office. 1960s fashion disaster and an absolute fucking diva. Probably the most flamboyant necromancer in existence.
Kurt Fisker
FIRST MET: Session 38
LIVED IN: (Presumably) New Jersey.
NOTES: Murdered pawn shop owner Isaac Clement in 1966 and robbed his store. Unwittingly became wrapped up in a nasty curse by stealing Selune's Tear, a beautiful magical rock that fell out of a broken horse statue. Was eventually caught, tried, and imprisoned for Clement's murder. Unable to fence the Tear, he gave it to his younger brother, Miles. Murdered in 1987 by a Mirror Man, presumably a servant of the night hags.

LIVES IN: Max Security penitentiary in New Jersey
NOTES: Convicted murderer framed for prison-shanking fellow convicted murderer Kurt Fisker. Has no memory of the day Fisker was murdered, and is rightfully annoyed at being forced to serve time for killing him.

LIVED IN: Midway, Florida.
NOTES: An unwitting victim to the Night Hags' curse on Morpheus. The Selune's Tear gem given to him by his brother Kurt slowly drove him mad, and the Night Hags' curse transformed him into a Bodak.

LIVED IN: Midway, Florida.
NOTES: The sheriff of Midway, Florida. Nosy as fuck boomer cop that needs to retire already. Go take a fucking nap, Grandpa. We'll get off your lawn when we goddamn feel like it.

NOTES: Nellie's pleasant former landlord. Died in his sleep of a heart attack four years ago. Regrets not teaching his son how to fix the boiler.

LIVED IN: Fort Vanta, the Shadowfell
NOTES: A cursed Yuan-Ti Skellyman who haunted the halls of Fort Vanta. Definitely a miniboss fight at some point, which we totally skipped. After Maera was murdered for good, the curse on Fort Vanta lifted and his soul was able to move on to the next life, at which point we were able to loot his sick armor. 10/10, would Bugs Bunny again.

LIVED IN: The catacombs under Fort Vanta in the Shadowfell
NOTES: Managed to survive for thousands of years by clinging to spite and also siphoning the life essence off of countless victims. Was brutally killed in an unfortunate (for her) but very awesome (for Griffin) rugby incident. Briefly possessed Pippinella after her demise, but was unable to maintain said possession for very long because Crimeny is terrifying.

LIVES IN: An abyssal void prison, blocked off from the rest of reality
NOTES: He was supposed to be a serious boss fight but all hope for gravity was lost when it was revealed that he talks like Skeletor. Was forced back into his hell dimension by a pretty good combination of Turn Undead and a goose-delivered Fireball. Left some of his finger bones on the ground after the portal snapped shut on them.

LIVES IN: Mother's Embrace, the Celestial Realm
NOTES: The former groundskeeper of the monastery where Serra grew up, and only other known survivor of the attack that killed all of the other residents. Has transformed the site into a very beautiful and very sad rock garden, which contains a 7-8ft stone marker for every person who was lost.
