5.) Jericho (15
6.) Shane (
7.) D1 Sorcerer (59)
8.) Serra (7
9.) D2 Monk (51)
10.) D3 Cleric (83)
11.) Pippinella 23
12.) D4 Fighter(75)
13.) D5 Rogue (28

  - Majnab goes first. He attacks Firo for 9 damage. He starts cackling like a fucking lunatic.
  - Firo goes next. He crits to hit Majnab in the face for 14 damage.
  - Griffin tries to perceive lapel pins but cannot see for sure. (They do have the hourglass spider pins. Majnab also has one.) He tries to say "Hey dudes, I'm not really down to fight, we don't have to do this." The drow have their weapons drawn and just act menacing without saying anything, so he shrugs and attacks. He rolls a 10 and a 24 to hit D2 (lady monk) for 12 damage.
  - Crimeny does a sneak attack on D2 since Griffin is there. A 21 and 23 both hit. They do 29 damage, but the drow uses Deflect Missiles to catch the coin ammo, but the monk totally negated the damage of the first missile and only took 7 damage from the second. (D12 = 19 damage)
  - Jericho sings a beautiful song. Inky wants to know what these drow are wearing. Most of them are wearing robes. Most of them don't seem to have weapons out, except for D4, who has two short-swords. No one really has anything he can cast Heat Metal on. Jericho casts Fireball centered between D2 and D3. They both Dex save, but still take half damage: 19 damage each. D2 uses Uncanny Dodge to take 10. (D2 = 29 damage; D3 = 19 damage). Jericho gives Crimeny Bardic Inspiration
  - Shane casts Bane on D2, D3 and D5. D2 saves, D3 saves, and D5 fails. Shane made one guy's day a little bit more annoying.
  - D1 casts Crown of Madness on Griffin. His Wisdom save was insufficient at 13. He has to beat a 17. Now he is but a beefy meat puppet to this mean drow lady. 8(
  - Serra casts Guiding Bolt on D1 for 13 damage. D1 saved on her concentration throw. Serra cast Spiritual Weapon as a bonus action for an additional 15 damage, and she still saved.
  - D2 steps away from Griffin and steps to Crimney. Griffin can't do attack of opportunity because Mind Control. :( D2 hits Crimeny for 14 damage, and they fail their Con save - they are stunned until the end of D2's next turn.
  - D3 casts Guiding Bolt on Serra for 17 damage.
  - Pippinella moves up next to Jericho, across from D1, and uses a bonus action to cast Dragon's Breath on Sekilos and also herself. She uses her action to Dragon's Breath D1. D1 saved on Dex, and took 7 damage, and Con saved for concentration.
  - Sekilos breathes on D1, and D1 saved again, and took 4 damage. She saved on Concentration again.
  - D4 runs up to Jericho and hits him for 20 damage.
  - D5 (baned) runs up and attacks Shane for 9 damage. Shane Misty Escapes.

ROUND 2
  - Majnab attacks Firo again and super whiffs.
  - Firo is already so tired. He punches the shit out of Majnab for 18 damage.
  - Mind Controlled Griffin attacks Firo. He rolls 19 and 23 to hit Firo for 8 damage. Now Majnab is upset. Griffin failed his Wisdom Save at the end of his turn and is still mind controlled. :(
  - Crimeny.EXE is rebooting.
  - Jericho casts Fireball on Majnab, D4, and D1. Majnab saves with a Nat 20, D1 saves, and D4 fails. 40 damage total. D1 dies like a little bitch, and Griffin is back to normal. Mr Jericho is the best!!! Jericho Bardically Inspires Pip to end his turn.
  - Shane hates Majnab and this is Majnab's fault so he attacks Majnab with Eldritch Blast. He hits with a 20 and does 20 damage.
  - Serra casts Sacred Flame on D3 for 13 damage. She then casts Mass Healing Word and heals everybody for 12 HP.
  - D2 moves to attack Griffin and attempts a Stunning Strike. He crits and does 14 + 10 damage. Griffin rolls a 20 Con save and is not stunned.
  - D3 casts Divine Strike on Pippinella for 8 base damage + 4 + 4 necrotic (16 total). Pippinella maintains concentration thanks to Jericho's Bardic Inspiration.
  - Pippinella casts Double Dragon on D3. D3 Crit Fails one Dex Save (21 damage) and saves on Sekilos' turn and takes 5 additional damage (26 damage).
  - D4 casts Thunderwave - it catches Majnab, Firo, Jericho, and Pip. Everyone Con saved and nobody is pushed. Everyone takes 7 damage. Sekilos pops. Pip manages to maintain concentration on Dragon's Breath.
  - D5 takes a stab at Crimeny for 7 damage.

ROUND 3
  - Majnab is mad at all the interference so he turns and stabs D4 for 17 damage. Majnab yells at D4 to stop getting involved in his fight.
  - Firo is very confused by Majnab's actions. He sees Pip is having a hard time so he runs to her rescue to attack D3. Firo hits and crits for 25 damage, which kills her. He turns to Pippinella and asks if she's okay.
  - Griffin rolls an unnat 20 and a 24 to hit D2. 10 + 12 damage for 22 total. The first strike catches him on his hip and throws off his balance, and his second strike impales him for a murder. Get shit on, D2.
  - Crimeny turns first their head, and then the rest of their body, to study D5. D5 fails to Deceive Crimeny, so Crimeny now gets sneak damage. They roll a 24 to hit, and do 25 damage. She uncanny dodges and halves her damage to 13.
  - Jericho: Anyway, here's Wonderwall. He stabs D4 twice with a 19 and a 25, for 18 damage.
  - Shane casts Hunger of Hadar on Majnab. Majnab sees the yawning portal of fap and hip thrusts into it as it consumes him.
  - Serra casts Sacred Flame on D5, but D5 Dex saved. She smacks D5 with her celestial hammer for 7 damage.
  - Pip moves in to Dragon's Breath D5. D5 failed her Dex save somehow, and is taking the full 10 damage from Pip. Pip continues to move and hides behind Serra.
  - D5 disengages from Crimeny and attacks Jericho and crit failed to hit. Jericho Bugs Bunny side-steps, and trips D5 into the Portal of Fap. She failed her Dex save when ending her turn in the Fap Zone and took 8 Acid damage.

ROUND 4
  - Majnab begins his turn in the Fap Zone and takes 8 cold damage, he decided to end his turn in there.
  - D5 takes 7 cold damage and dies.

Shane rejoins the party. He yells at Firo for a bit, and we all leave Majnab behind in the Fap Zone.

We make our way to Helena's Hermitage. It's about an hour on foot. It's very different from Terpander Garden. The buildings are separated by large parks and gardens. It's full of large halls and manors, fenced in and separated from the rabble of the city. The street lamps are made of wrought iron, shaped like beech trees. The lights branch out.

We're looking for Verona Heights. It's more modern than any of the other buildings in Midshade. It's a 7 story building made of concrete, with no windows. Sadie lives in the Penthouse apartment of Verona Heights. While we walk, we chat a bit with Firo and learn some backstory.

When Taknuss was expelled from the Proudsong Family, Majnab was the only member of the Brockhopper family who went with him willingly.

Majnab was known as the Gobsmasher and the Berserking.

As we walk into Verona Heights, we notice that there are windows inside - they are enchanted window frames that show the outside world. There's an attendant at a desk, and straight back is an elevator. There are no other doors on this level.

We go to the elevator. Jericho presses the penthouse button. It's a very slow elevator. The door opens onto the top floor. There's a very small hallway leading to another door. Crimeny checks for alarms. There are no alarms. The door is locked.

Griffin knocks on the door.

There is no answer.

Crimeny rolls to pick the lock. They unlock the door easily. The door creaks open. Crimeny peeks in to see if there are any signs of life. They immediately get the sense that the apartments in this building are enchanted to be bigger inside than they are outside. There's a very lavish living space. They see no one. There are two sets of shoes by the door. Crimeny gestures to us noisy assholes to stay put while they stealth into the apartment to Investigate.

The apartment looks lived in by someone who spends a lot of time traveling.

There's a second floor to this penthouse. Crimeny checks the first floor bedroom. They pass the kitchen and go around a corner, and to the left is a doorway leading to a bedroom, and further back is a spiral staircase leading up to the second level. Someone is coming down those stairs. Crimeny retreats to the kitchen and disguises themself as a hot water kettle on the stove.

A very large burly gnome comes into the kitchen. He is a lot bigger than most gnomes - he almost looks like a dwarf, but he's definitely a gnome. He's very well built, a neatly kempt black beard framing his powerful jawline, black hair pulled up into a tight topnot. Collared shirt half unbuttoned, and wearing a lapel pin of the spider with the hourglass body. He pours himself a drink and wanders over to the living room windows to enjoy the view while he sips his rum.

Nellie casts Message: Status report!
Crimeny: One individual, not target, Amastacia pin.

Jericho slams inside and says, "It's me, ya boi!"

The man is very jovial. "Tell your friend he doesn't have to sit on the stove, it's fine." Crimeny drops the glamor, but continues to sit in the stove, like a fucking gremlin.

It's Taknuss Brockhopper. He lists off all our names to show off.

Behind us on the second floor are three people. The first is Sadie Brockhopper. She is more average gnome height. She has long black hair. Her bangs obscure her face but every so often she'll peek out from under them with her icy blue eyes. Lavender gown. Insight: She is Not Okay with this.

Next to her, bound and gagged, is Citron. Cerulean blue hair, violet eyes, he looks outright terrified, because behind him is a drow woman. She has a wicked-looking dagger with a spider shaped hilt leveled at the back of Citron's head.

Brockhopper wants us to find the bell and bring it to him in exchange for Citron.

Jericho "agrees" to bring Taknuss the bell. Taknuss tells us he called the fantasy cops on us because he wasn't sure which way we were going to go. Then he splits with his daughter and the drow and their hostage via Dimension Door.

Sadie Messages Pip: I'm sorry.
Pip Messages back: Don't worry about it.

Now we have to run from the cops.

When we return to the elevator, all of the buttons are gone save for one: the Third Floor button. We hit the third floor button. It takes a weirdly long time. The floor beyond is utterly fractured, like we're inside of a kaleidoscope. Inside that room is another button.

Jericho casts Fireball centered on himself.
